Share your Neotel Connection

If you are a Neotel internet user the only way to enable your internet connection with all 5 laptops is using ICS through your 3G router using Network cable.
You would need to decide which laptop/computer to host the internet connection first of all, so I would follow more or less these steps:

1. Network Connections > Network Setup on Host Computer (set as host in Network setup)
1.1 Change Host Lan IP: 192.168.0.1 - Subnet: 255.255.255.0 - Gateway leave blank - Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222 - Alternative DNS: 208.67.220.220

2. Login to your Router, not sure what your default router IP is but will probably be: 192.168.1.254
2.1 Change Router IP: 192.168.0.254

3. Network Connections > Network Setup on the rest of your Laptops/Computers (set as "uses host as internet gateway or another computer as gateway")
3.1 Do the same as in steps 1.1 for the rest of your laptops you wish to network and connect except change their IP's in ascending order as follow: 192.168.0.2 ; 192.168.0.3 ; 192.168.0.4
3.2 Everything exactly the same settings as in 1.1 except, fill in Gateway:192.168.0.1

For Setting up Your Wireless network it's alittle bit of a different story and hopefully someone with experience in setting up Wireless Networks can help.

I have done everything indicated in par 1 and 3. I have a "static" router - my "guest computer" does see the Neotel Connection, but it is not picked up when I open IE or Google Chrome? Any ideas

    This helped a lot!
We did something and lost the connection to the rest of the house. Changing the IP's and DNS's worked like a charm - Quick and easy!
    Thanks!

Follow steps for router and ensure that wan profile is set to pure bridge and llc/muxc 8/35 PURE BRIDGE and DHCP off if need be.
